What I Like About This Product:
This MD MadOats Car Gun Safe is really pretty cool, it opens by biometric fingerprint, number code, and key, plus it is very easy to setup. My application is the backseat of my pickup and by using the included cable and placing it around the rear seat support it is very secure. It has a nice nylon bag that you can place it in so it is not obvious that it is a gun safe, just looks like a small gym bag. The padding that comes with this safe is really good, it will keep your firearm from getting scratched or damaged. It says it is quick access and that is definitely true – it works great.
What I Would Change About This Product:
Right now it works great as-is.
Final Remarks:
I usually always carry my handgun on my person, in a holster, but occasionally I go somewhere, like a post office, that does not allow concealed carry and I have to remove my gun and put it in my pickup. I never put it in my glovebox or just under the seat. I need something to lock it up and keep my handgun secure and this car safe really works well. This care safe works great, it has a nice handle so you can transport it easily, a heavy duty cable for locking it to your vehicle securely. The setup works very easy and quickly and the end result really works. If you need a secure way to lock up your handgun in your vehicle I would highly recommend this car gun safe for you. Keep in mind that this would also work well for your regular valuables as well. You really need to give this a try!
